Sub-Limits And Co-Payments Should be Avoided

There are a few group covers with a sub-limit. “The sub-limit in plans restricts the money covered as well as other factors such as room rent or the kind of operation conducted during hospitalisation,” stated Sanjiv Bajaj, joint chairman and MD of Bajaj Capital. Some health insurance plans compel policyholders to pay a portion of hospital expenditures as part of the co-payment provision. Employers should search for these provisions and choose for plans that do not have these limits before finalising an employee benefits policy.”

A Larger Hospital Network

Employers should consider expanding their network of network hospitals in their plan. Corporate insurance, as is generally known, may provide two kinds of plans: cashless and reimbursement. If the employee’s preferred hospital is one of the network hospitals, they are entitled for a cashless claim. If they do not, they must endure the expenses themselves and then make a refund claim. Because medical situations are unforeseen during these times, the workers’ preferred hospital may not always be under their control.

Furthermore, it may not always be able to pay huge payments on your own. As a consequence, it is preferable to choose an employee plan that covers the most network hospitals.
