Full-stack mobility startup situated in Bangalore Automobile Accident Claims to have developed India’s first accidental claims app for insurance agents/brokers. The programme will assist the startup in developing an interface with over 100,000 agents across 20,000 Indian pin codes.

The software is now available for Android devices, and it will be accessible for iOS users on June 22. It will serve as an end-to-end motor insurance platform, linking agents, vehicle owners, and the brand to enable any motor claim while also giving transparency in terms of claims, products, pricing, and services. An agent may simply join up and register a client’s claim case; this case will then be summitted with Automovill, and after an estimate is generated, the insurer will process it further. On the app, the agent will be able to see the procedure and its status.

“The purpose behind creating this app is to minimise claim-cost by bringing greater efficiency to the system for all stakeholders,” said Mridu Mahendra Das, co-founder and CEO of Automovill (insurance companies and customers). As of now, Automovill is the market leader in managing motor claims in India, offering a cost savings of up to 40% when compared to authorised service providers. We understand the genuine estimations and can improve the system’s speed and openness. This makes it easy for agents and consumers to arrange appointments and process claims. “The app will take care of that operation for everyone.”

According to the company, the programme will be further developed in-house into an advanced AI system to aid in the estimate of insurance claims. The technology will be used to identify car damage such as dents and to generate insurance claim estimates. It will also manage the subsequent processes of providing the estimate and obtaining permissions from the insurers, eliminating any anomalies.

In phase one, Automovill hopes to enrol at least 20,000 agents throughout the nation and serve about 100,000 claims using the app in the current calendar year.
